Slope Activities:
The slope activities take you all around the mountain in various fun challenges. Your skiing skills or equipment don’t matter – it’s all about attitude. Challenge yourself and your friends before heading to after ski! All participants in the slope activities will be entered into a draw for a Spring Break package for 2026!
The package includes accommodation for 4 people for 3 nights, lift tickets, and afterparty tickets. The winners will be crowned on Ravintola Piste’s terrace on Saturday.
Participation in the activities is 18+ and requires a valid lift ticket.
Stiga Race
A Spring Break classic, the Stiga Race returns with its thrilling turns next to Monomesta. Sign up at the Spring Break Arena info point in Monomesta, grab a Stiga, and clock the fastest time of the day or impress with your style!
Stiga Race is open on Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 15:00.
Speed Skiing
The speed radar at Kuru slope will reveal who has the fastest skis. Sign up at the starting gate and get into your best aerodynamic tuck for the fastest run of the weekend!

Slalom
A slalom course, perfectly suited for Spring Break, will be set up at the lower section of the Talvijärvi slope. Here, everyone can feel like their own version of Lindsey Vonn or Alberto Tomba!

Pool Party
Ride & splash or get wet trying! This has been requested and eagerly awaited. The first-ever pool skim in Ruka Spring Break history will take place on the shore of Kaltiolampi, right at the base of the Front Slopes. Both Friday and Saturday afternoons will culminate in sessions where water is guaranteed to fly. Bring your own floaties and rubber ducks! Ravintola Piste’s terrace offers prime seating for this spectacle.
Pool skim on Friday and Saturday from 16:00 to 17:00.
